The following are things that we would LOVE to have in our classroom if you are feeling generous or if you are cleaning out the bookshelves :)
-Individual Pencil Sharpeners (we can NEVER have enough of these!)
-Pencil-top erasers
-Black Expo Markers
-Extra Pencil Boxes (for students who did not bring one as a part of their school supplies)
-Cotton Balls
-Colorful pom-pom balls (you know the ones I mean? They are about the size of a bouncy ball and you can glue them on things for projects--I need them to make "fraction-pillars" with the kids!)
-Scrapbook paper for the kids to cut up and use for project (it's a lot more fun to make projects with patterned paper instead of using the same-old construction paper we always use :) )
-Candy for the 'Good Job Jar'
-Gallon Sized Ziplock bags
-heavy plastic bowls (for paint)
-picture books with an audio CD or Cassette Tape
-2nd Grade level Book on the following topics: poems, biographies, legends, Hentry & Mudge, ABC Books (like, the ABCs of Insects, or the ABCs of fall, ect), Geronimo Chapter Books, Magic Tree House, Amber Brown, Box Car Children Chapter Books, ect.
-A kid-Friendly Tape Recorder (I have a super old one and I love how easy it is for the kids to use! If you see an old one not in use, I would love for you to grab it for me!)
