Meet the Teacher

Thank you to those of you who came to Meet the Teacher today from 2-3! I am so excited about this year! I am so thankful to have such a great bunch of kids and Parents to work with.

For those of you who could not attend, I will be sending home a Classroom Handbook and a Parent Questionnaire with your child on Tuesday.  Please read through the Handbook (there is a LOT of info in there that will help you and your child assimilate to my classroom!) and return the Parent Questionnaire ASAP (at least by Friday the 7th).

If you are looking for the supply list, it is listed a couple of posts down on this page :)

See you Tuesday!

School Supplies!!

I just LOVE this time of year and getting in all those fresh new school supplies! I know that many stores are having GREAT sales right now (10 cent folders, boxes of crayons, notebooks, ect. at staples!) and I have been stocking up on some things for the classroom.  If you are like me and want to get your shopping done now before the prices go back up, below is the Poupard school supply list.  You'll notice that many items are "missing" from the list-- this is because the school is going to be purchasing those items in bulk for each classroom!

GRADE 2
。2 containers anti-bacterial wipes (like clorox wipes or similar)
。2 boxes Kleenex (full size)-  If you are in my class you do not need to bring ANY kleenex! I have TONS already!
。8 oz bottle of hand sanitizer- If you are in my class, you do not need to bring and handsanitzer at this time.  I have a LOT already!
。Plastic cigar-box size pencil box (label with your name)
。Coins for Math, in a labeled container
4 quarters, 10 dimes, 5 nickels, 20 pennies (If you're in my class, you can just put them in a ziplock with your name)
。1 oversized T-shirt for Art (labeled with name)-- I have LOTS of extras so you do not need to bring one of these if you're in my class.
。School bag/Backpack (labeled with name)
。$6.00 party money (CASH ONLY)

**Extra things if you're in my class and you WANT to contribute some extras: Gallon sized plastic baggies, sandwich sized baggies, Eraser tops for pencils, sticky notes for kid use, Glue sticks, individual pencil sharpeners
