Today was another great day :) We started learning about Martin Luther King Jr. today and his acomplishments. We wrote an entry in our journal about why MLK was important and how he changed our world. We will be continuing to learn about MLK and other significant people who contributed to the civil rights movement for the next 2 weeks. All the kids will then write a report (biography) about a person of their choosing. Our reports will be done before mid-winter break at which time they will bring them home :)
In math we learned about symmetry and reviewed our 3D geometry vocabulary. We also used geoboards to review 2D polygons.
