Today our mystery reader was Molly's mom! The kids loved the irish book she brought and couldn't wait to tell her about the leprechaun that had been in our classroom that morning sprinkling gold coins around and making messes! Most of our day, in fact, was spent focusing on leprechauns and working on our stories! Ask your child about all the things that the leprechaun did today at school :)
The kids had a sub for the last part of the day (during the irish dancer assembly and for part of science and math). I got a great note form her and was happy to hear that the St. Patrick's day excitement didn't prevent anyone from getting good work done :)
